Dr. Alexis started Rocky Mount Children's Dentistry with a mission to provide compassionate dental care in a fun, welcoming environment. We believe in empowering both you and your little one with the knowledge and tools you need to achieve healthy smiles for life. Our approach prioritizes preventative care, gentle techniques, and a stress-free experience. Our goal is to lift up your child with positive associations with dentistry, fostering healthy smiles and building lifelong confidence.

Meet Dr. Alexis
Dr. Alexis Brown is a board-certified pediatric dentist who grew up right here in Rocky Mount. After graduating from Northern Nash High School, she pursued her passion for dentistry, earning her DDS from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. She completed an advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) residency at ECU, followed by a residency specializing in pediatric dentistry at ECU. This extensive training equipped her with the expertise to provide gentle, comprehensive care for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers.
Dr. Alexis’ commitment is deeply rooted in building relationships with her patients and their families. She understands that each child has unique needs and anxieties, and she tailors her approach accordingly, creating a comfortable and stress-free atmosphere. She prioritizes preventative care, early intervention, and education to empower parents and children with the knowledge and tools to maintain healthy smiles for a lifetime.

Your Child’s First Visit
Your first visit with us is designed to be relaxing and informative. We'll start with a friendly meet and greet, followed by a comprehensive exam, including a thorough review of your child's oral health history.
We'll take the time to answer any questions you have and work with you to create a personalized plan to meet your child's unique needs. We prioritize making your child feel comfortable and at ease, creating a positive first impression that sets the stage for future visits.
What to Bring
Please bring your ID, child's insurance card (if applicable), a list of current medications, and any relevant medical information.
